Get Ready to Make Money – Open Mind required

Friday, October 5th, 2012

I live by two sayings when it comes to making money

1-Having money is all about having ideas, if you don’t have money you just lack ideas

2-If there is a will there will always be a way

I have had great success in my life thanks to these quotes. You can plan as much as you want, but expect some roadblocks along the way. To get ahead in life you will need to overcome a few challenges on the way.

If you’re still reading, then you are serious about building wealth. So let’s discuss the fun stuff.

Passive income strategies can make you a lot of money if you do it right. There are some keys to doing well and they are pretty straight forward.

1) Do your Homework – Learn before you earn

Most individuals get into investing because they hope to make a quick buck with no effort. There are money-making methods that require very little effort to maintain, but some initial effort is required to get the ball rolling.

Jumping into something without any knowledge whatsoever is a sure way to failure, DON’T DO IT.

2) Don’t pick investment strategies solely based on the potential or promise to make a lot of money.

It is best to pick an investment based on what you like to do. For instance, if ou are an introvert you should avoid investment strategies that require you to be outgoing. If you are more of the think tank type that likes to work behind the scenes, then avoid methods that require an outgoing personality.

Another example, if you are a detail oriented person that likes to see data, then maybe there is an opportunity for you in stock options trading, or real estate investing.

Make a list of your strengths and weaknesses, then choose your money-making path wisely. I used this technique to take stock of my natural abilities and this eventually lead me to options trading on line and Internet marketing. I love the idea of working from home.

3) Be open to unique possibilities

There is nothing to it, but to do it. There are countless ways to make money. There will always be those that will tell you that something cannot be done, don’t listen to them. If there is a will there is a way, find your will and way to make it happen.

I guarantee you that if you ask all the millionaires if someone ever doubted them, they would all say yes.

Follow These Excellent Tips For Making The Most Of Your Personal Finance

Friday, October 5th, 2012

If you are careless with money, it can take both a physical and emotional toll on your life. Here’s some advice to help you keep your finances in good shape.

Your vehicle is a large and important purchase that you will have to make. To get the best deal on a car, it’s smart to check with all the auto dealers in your local area. Look online if you’re not happy with the prices you find in your general area.

If you are living paycheck to paycheck, find a way to cut back on items that are not needed for daily living. If you just cut eating out from your budget, you are very likely to miss it and not keep up the change. Try to eliminate every other dinner out each month and you will be able to save and still have fun going out to dinner.

Consider eating local foods to try to save money when visiting a foreign country. The restaurants in your hotel and in the area surrounding it are going to be overpriced, so find out where local people eat. The food will taste better and it will likely be cheaper, as well.

The best way to accumulate money and saving is to make a budget for less money than you earn, and stick to it. People who spend it all or borrow frequently typically have to spend everything they make, so they’ll never be rich. It’s simple–spend less than you make.

Thursday night before payday, set aside some money and decide that this will be your budget for the weekend. By budgeting your weekend money, you will help protect your paycheck. This way, your money is still waiting on Monday, when you are more likely to make wise decisions about how to allocate it rather than spending it rashly.

Make sure you always have a small envelope handy. Use it to preserve any receipts or business cards you receive. Keeping up with these items can help you to maintain more accurate financial records. Keeping astute credit card statement records can help you if there is ever a dispute about payment or being overcharged.

Although paying off your debts is very important, you may want to make building up an emergency fund a higher priority, especially if emergency credit card use is where your debts came from. To help you decide how much to save, consider costly expenses such as dental work, medical bills and car repairs. Other common emergencies include problems in the home, such as a leaking roof or a flooded basement.

Set aside a specific day to pay bills. Paying your bills will not take the full day, but it is important to have a specified time for handling this task. Put this day on your calendar and get to your bills on that day regularly. Skipping a scheduled bill paying day can lead to lax behavior down the road.

You can save money by eliminating fast food stops for convenience. Providing a home cooked meal for your family will not only save you money, but will also give you a feeling of accomplishment.

Your FICO score is determined in large part by your credit card balances. Your score may be lower if your credit cards have a high balance. Your score will improve as you pay off debt. It is a good rule of thumb to keep credit card balances at or below 20% of your credit limit.

Don’t fret if your credit score decreases while work on repairing credit. Don’t worry, though, you haven’t done anything wrong. As long as you continue to act responsibly, it will be reflected in your credit report. Your score will improve eventually.

To make the best choices and manage your finances properly, you need to have a strong working knowledge of what to do. Knowledge is power; it can help you alter your habits so that you do not spend money unnecessarily. Read this article again and use the tips in your personal life, and you will soon see that you will soon be financially secure.

Stock Market Tricks That Everyone Must Know

Friday, October 5th, 2012

Although many different people would like to make some extra money or start a business from home, considering investments in the stock market can often, be overlooked! Investing can be one of the best ways to increase your income. Read this article for some tips on how to play the stock market.

Avoid the temptation to trade in and out of stocks too often. While there are some people that day trade, most of those people actually lose money. It is difficult to outperform the market and human psychology often leads investors to sell at the bottom and buy at the top. This is the exact opposite of what an investor should do. Buy a stock at a good price and then hold, unless something has fundamentally changed about the stock’s worth.

If you are not experienced in the stock market, you should always try to find a broker to help you. Inexperience can lead to you making some very bad choices. If you feel you must do it yourself, make sure not to invest in too many stocks at a time.

Be prepared to wait it out. When you are investing in stocks, be prepared to leave them alone for a minimum of five years. Make sure that you are able to manage without that money, as it is the only way you will see a good profit. If the market starts to do poorly, try to remain levelheaded, and understand that just as the market goes down, it will rebound, but it takes time.

When you invest in the stock market, do not forget to diversify your investments. There can be sudden changes in certain industry, positive and negative, that can greatly affect your gross earnings. To be safe and benefit most from industrial windfalls, maintain a portfolio that covers many different industries.

Don’t let your emotions play a part in your investments. Remember that this is a business and you’re in this to make money. You can’t let yourself make bad decisions that are solely based on your emotions. Learn to separate your emotions from your decision making so that you can have a clear mind.

If you plan on investing, make sure that you have the strength to hold onto your stocks for a long period of time. Stocks tend to bounce up and down in the short run. There is no way that you can predict the short run. However, it is easier to assess the potential long run performance. Patience is the key.

Factoring in comissions is one of the most important things you must look at when both considering which broker to do business with and each profit on transactions. Make sure you are doing whatever you can in order to lower the cost of what you are paying in comissions. Some companies have DRIP plans, and they are available at much lower comissions.

You should now have a better idea about what the stock market is about and what you should be doing to prepare yourself, so that you can invest. Keep in mind, that sharing information with friends can help. Make sure that you engage in conversation with your friends, as well as to teach them what you know, so that you have a better grasp of the stock market as a whole. When you understand how something works, you know how to be good at it. Do this and success should follow.

My Own Personal Encounter With Precious Metals Investments

Thursday, October 4th, 2012

I must confess I hopped on the gold band wagon rather late. I wished I’d ever done it a long time ago. After I heard suggestions to buy gold, I always say “I can’t afford it”. The reality is I could have afforded it back then, even on my income.

Today, I make more money and truly can not afford gold. I have committed to purchasing a little every month anyway. Most gold is better than nothing. Over the long run, the monthly additions will accumulate.

I still put investment cash into stocks. When stocks are earning cash I’ll continue doing that, but when they are losing money, I move out until they are earning money again. I hold cash until a bull market returns, then I have the cash to buy near the bottom, when stocks are affordable.

When I put my money into gold, I do not feel the loss if the price decreases, because I still have the gold I acquired. I enjoy possessing the coins I purchase and understand that they’re an asset in the future. I know I can sell them (I think) when the time is right, to make money.

At The Time that I was a young adult in the 1970’s gold was $35 an ounce, where it had been since the 1930’s. I had no motivation to purchase, even though I could afford it, because it didn’t go up in value. That’s still accurate today. Gold doesn’t increase in worth. It holds its worth while our government devalues our money.

During the 1990’s when gold was $300 an ounce and I was making far less money than I am now, I saved $300 per month. Whenever a friend recommended buying gold during that time, my reply was “I can’t afford it”.

Now, with gold varying in price from $1600 to $1800 an ounce, I’m convinced I should buy all I can get before the cost increases more. I am not in the position to buy an ounce of gold every month, so I’ve made the commitment to buy fraxel denominations. In hind sight, of course I wish I’d been smart enough to start buying gold a long time ago. I’d be wealthy by now.

During the last 40 years, gold has held its value better than silver. Gold has had a stable rise in worth, due to fiat money printing since the U.S. went off the gold standard in 1971. In the end, gold continues to raise in value compared to the dollar.

What You Should Know About The Stock Market

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2012

There are many ways to make money by investing, and one of the best ways anyone can make money is through the stock market. If you think you have what it takes to become successful in the stock market, but need a little help, then you’re in the right place. This article can help you understand key concepts about the stock market and how to become successful on the subject.

If you have some spare money to invest consider putting it into your employer-based pension plan. Many companies will match a percentage up to 100% of the contributions made by its employees, and this is basically the opportunity to receive free money. If you don’t take advantage of this, it is tantamount to wasting quite a substantial opportunity.

For some fun in investing in stocks, take a look at penny stocks. The term applies not just to stocks worth pennies, but most stocks with values less than a few dollars. Since these stocks come dirt cheap, even a movement of a dollar or two can yield major dividends. This can be a low cost way of learning the markets.

Don’t trade with your emotions. It may be hard, but you should try to remain stoic when trading. Emotional trading only leads to mistakes. If you are feeling stressed out or pressured, do not trade any stock until you can calm down. This will lead to much wiser investment decisions.

Stay away from investments that a large crowd of people have claimed to be a great opportunity. Although the majority usually rules in most instances, this isn’t the case. When people agree that an opportunity is great, then things are likely to change really soon. When people make investments, they shouldn’t be making, you should stay away.

Figure out if you want to use a brokerage to purchase stocks, or if you want to buy right from a Direct Investment Plan or Dividend Reinvestment plan. If you do not think, you can afford a brokerage, there are many discount brokerages available. Just be aware that some companies do not offer a Direct Investment Plan.

Companies with wildly popular goods or services that seemed to gain visibility overnight should normally be avoided. Instead, wait to see if the business does well in the long term, or it could easily lose its value as quickly as it found it. You might want to stick to reliable products instead of fads when choosing stocks.

If you want to know the formula for making money on the stock market, all you need to to is purchase less and at the same time sell high. This is how many people make a lot of money on the market, and it will work for you too.

With all of the information that you just learned, you might feel a little overwhelmed, but that’s okay. If you think that you need to re-read this article to understand some of the key concepts that were presented, then make sure you do so. Your goal is to learn all that you can about the stock market, so that you can become as successful as you possibly can.
