Wednesday, October 31st, 2012

Android phones have come a long way in recent years. These days these phones are some of the most popular smart phones on the market. This is why so many of the different brands out there are having their own Android phones made, which leads to your having more models to choose from. The HTC One S is a smart phone for people who want a phone with many capabilities, such as multimedia and gaming. All of these features are packed within a tight and sleek appearance that help the phone look very high end and stylish. The HTC One S operates on the Ice Cream Sandwich system, also called Android 4.0. This operating system is a lot more sophisticated and easier to use than the systems used on previous Android phones. The 8-Megapixel camera is also really good, especially when it comes to a phone’s camera and it uses both HDR and Panorama to allow you to take pictures in many different modes.

If you want a phone with an exceptional camera, this one should be near the top of your list. This camera takes 8MP photos and records video in 1080p HD. This camera has no shutter lag so you won’t have to worry about accidentally taking blurry photos. It’s also easy to share your photos with social sites and to email because it gives you your own T-mobile cloud to store things on. The 4G Slide also has plenty of other capabilities as well, such as a Super LCD touch display that makes it easy to navigate your way around whether you’re making calls or surfing the web. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is the newest phone release that takes these features to the next level. It not only has a bigger screen for your viewing pleasure, it comes with a lot of cool features which are not found in other phones in the market.

It’s Wi-Fi capable, it has a bluetooth compatible stereo, it can shoot video with its camera and even has a good Internet browser. The AT&T Avail PrePaid Android GoPhone is a perfect choice for people who want Android phones but don’t want to have to deal with all of the problems that come with cell phone contracts.

New iPhone Cases: Out With Old, In With New

Wednesday, August 29th, 2012

You may have gone to pick up an iPhone for yourself recently. With it being such a big technological phenomenon, it’s hard not to have one these days. If so, you probably would have bought an iPhone case for it to give it frontline protection against falling and shock damage. That’s not to say that you need to make one case last the entire time you have the iPhone. You can decide to buy from the selection of new iPhone cases that are available in stores and online in many outlets.

When I first got an iPhone 4 for my birthday a while back, I started off by just getting myself a case with a simple blue color. I initially liked it because the case gave me protection but it allowed me to keep it simple. However, when I went on a hiking trip for one of my gym classes, I accidentally dropped the phone into the wet dirt. Luckily, the phone still worked and was intact, but the case took the brunt of the fall and was covered in mud and dirt.

Because of the unfortunate mud debacle with my original iPhone case, I took a little bit more time instead of spontaneously choosing a blue case this time. I went through online websites to find cases with colors and designs that I really liked which expressed my personality best and then I chose my favorite five cases that I could pick from at home. This worked better because, not only were my cases now more expendable, but I had multiple ones that I liked equally.

Like me, you’ve probably put your iPhone and iPhone cases through quite an extensive ordeal during its career as your smartphone. If this is the case with you, it may be a good idea to new cases for when you’ve weathered the old one too much. iLuv is one such site that offers new iPhone cases to consider.

When you get an iPhone for yourself, as well as an iPhone case, you may find that you need to replace your case after sometime. Luckily, there is a variety of cases that you can choose from to individualize your device and express yourself.

The Passive Observer and the iPad Dock

Monday, August 27th, 2012

My old friend has never been a crazy dude. In fact he’s actually more mild mannered and dull than anything else. Because he’s always been more introverted than extroverted he has always kept a small circle of friends. We liked to lovingly call him the Passive Observer. It is he who will bear witness to absolutely crazy events only to stand without obvious reaction and instead soak up the information like a sponge. I won’t forget the story with the iPad dock though; it was definitely one time he was the center of attention.

It all started with making decision on what we would be doing on that particular New Year’s Eve. It was normal for us to stick together with our small group as well all grew up together and went to the same high school. We all knew each other fairly well and have had many good times together but trust is a difficult thing to develop and it’s something that can be ruined easily.

So; on this one New Year’s Eve we wanted to keep everything simple and have a house party at a friend’s house. We were all designated a couple responsibilities to get everything together in order to have a smashing time. I was responsible for bringing the beer someone else was responsible for bringing the food and someone the chairs etc. When it came down to the music though; it was of immense concern because everyone was very much into their own personal genres.

My friend, the passive observer proclaimed that he had the perfect iPad dock to use for DJ-ing the event. In fact, since he wanted to get rid of his iPad all together he was willing to sell it to my other friend for cheap. She gave him the money and he said he’d return promptly with the dock for her to keep. He left and we all patiently waiting for some time. As the hours went on we began worry though because he never returned. Had he stolen the money? Was he really such a scumbag? I vouched for his trustworthiness and swore he would never do anything like that. The passive observer was a good guy.

New Year’s had come and gone and we had the party without the Passive Observer ever returning. By the end of the night everyone truly believed that he had taken the money and wasn’t going to ever show his face again. I pressed the notion that he wouldn’t do anything like that as it wasn’t in his nature and something bad must have occurred. It took a couple days for him to get back to me but when he did he let me know what happened. On the way back to the party he crashed his car into a tree and broke the dock in the mess. As the good man that he was though he returned the money confirming he wasn’t as much of a scumbag as everyone believed.

Samsung Galaxy II Case: An Alarm Protectant

Friday, August 24th, 2012

I am of the opinion that every cell phone should come pre-packaged with a case. As much as I love having a cell phone of the latest make, there’s a risk factor that comes with it since they might not have been built so sturdily. Whenever I drop my phone, for instance, I’m scrambling to pick it up, inspecting every last centimeter to see even the smallest hint of a scratch. This is why I feel like a Samsung GALAXY II case should be included with each phone, especially if one uses it as an alarm clock.

Prior to using my phone as an alarm, I had a shoddy clock in its place and it wouldn’t go off when I set it to. In turn, I found myself running late for work and getting around an hour or so later. I didn’t find this to be fun so I had to look for other options. The strongest and most inexpensive option turned out to be my phone and it made a handy alarm. With the volume at its highest, the phone made certain I wouldn’t run late again.

Even though I have my phone as an alarm, there are still a couple of issues I found myself running into. Unlike a traditional alarm clock, a phone is more compact so I found myself scrambling in the darkness to hit the snooze. It just seemed easier for me to leave the phone by my side in bed so that I could have a more reasonable reach for it. I was also afraid I’d knock the phone off the nightstand in my attempt to hit the snooze, thereby strengthening my need for a case.

Cases are marketed on websites, i-Luv amongst others, and they all fit the different needs consumers have. It’s not strange for me to have my phone in a case constantly and I am sure many others feel the same in terms of a Samsung GALAXY II case. These kinds of phones are not exactly cheap and it’s even worse when you know that they can break with enough force applied. A case, in my mind, comes highly suggested with any phone and you can find out more about cases by doing some research.

For those who have their cell phone double as an alarm, I think a case should come even more recommended for you. A phone will constantly take abuse in the hands of the casual user and, as a result, precautions should be taken. Cases can be bought from many different places on the Internet and finding which one works best for you is a cinch. If you don’t want to run an hour late for work, keep this idea in mind.
