So the 2012 Apple Worldwide Developer Conference has come and gone. It wasn’t surprising that Apple didn’t announce a new iPhone but it’s still sort of disappointing to those who were hoping for a new iPhone. While there were announcements about an exciting new laptop and operating system upgrades, there was nothing for iPhone users, except the announcement about the new iOS and Siri updates. Well, to make yourself feel better about your current iPhone, you should buy yourself a new iPhone 4S case. It’s the logical thing to do.
A new phone case can be the ticket to making yourself feel a little bit better about the prospect of no new iPhone until the fall. Dress up the old iPhone with a new case and feel like you have a new toy to play with once again. That’s what you used to do when you were little, wasn’t it? Dress up in old clothes and pretend that they were new. Well, you’re sort of doing the reverse now. Dress up the old iPhone 4 or 4S and pretend like you just got it.
If you need even one reason it should be to at least get a durable case to protect your iPhone. It’s the logical move when thinking long term. Because it’s not even brand new and it’s still an expensive object and it’s probably your lifeline when it comes to work and play no one will judge you harshly for buying one. It’s an investment if you really think about it.
Protecting your investment with a good iPhone case is actually a serious matter. I’ve seen too many people drop their phones and shatter their screens. Over Memorial Day weekend, a friend of a friend dropped her phone on the pavement and the screen shattered. Not broke, shattered. It was a two week old phone with no insurance on it. It made an awful crunching sound as it hit the pavement.
The main thing to take away is that you should get a new iPhone case for multiple reasons. You should be able to console yourself with the fact that no new iPhone is coming out. You should also do it to protect your expensive device. And lastly, you deserve one. Don’t worry; we all want one.
