Don’t Break Your iPhone Like I Did – Get an iPhone Case

Friday, July 27th, 2012

When getting a new iPhone it’s easy to fall under the impression that your phone will be indestructible and that nothing will happen to it. However, you must be prepared to expect the unexpected when it comes to handling your new device. A sudden fall or break can occur out of nowhere and put an unexpected damper on the new iPhone that you’ve prided yourself in getting. If you want to prevent this, the best choice is to buy an iPhone case.

For me, finally getting a new iPhone for my birthday was like I had been crowned king. Prior to that, I’d been the only one in the family to not yet have an iPhone, and I felt like I had to upgrade to a better one like my parents and sister did. But, this feeling of power was short lived as my phone dropped while I was walking at school with more baggage than I could easily carry.

So, my once-beautiful iPhone now had a screen that looked like a shattered pane of glass. And, to top it all off, the iPhone would turn off randomly at any given time from that point on. It made me regretful over the fact that I hadn’t bought an iPhone case for myself because I might have avoided this whole fiasco in the first place.

Luckily, in order to prevent the foolish mistake that I endured, you can make the wise choice of buying an iPhone case for yourself if and when you get a new iPhone. These cases are relatively cheap and easy to use. They can also be used to customize the appearance of your iPhones. So, in the end, buying this product will be far more financially beneficial than not doing so.

Although it’s initially exciting to get a new iPhone, breaking your phone unexpectedly will put an end to this joy. But, that can all be avoided by buying an iPhone case along with the new phone in the first place.

Saved by the iPhone Case

I’m a dog guy. I love animals in general but particularly dogs. They aren’t called “man’s best friend” for nothing. They make perfect companions because of course, they can’t talk back. And all they want is affection and attention. I have a mutt terrier at home named Bingo! She’s a sweet dog and knows words like “sit” and “squirrel” but she can be bad at times. She’s getting older now but she is still playful like a puppy. It’s great that she still loves playing but this can work against me at times however like with my iPhone case.

As I said before; she has her bad moments and she definitely knows right from wrong. I’ve caught her going to town on the cat’s food bowl when no one was around and startled her when I walked in. She totally knows it’s wrong to eat out of the cat bowl. There are times too when she’ll walk straight into screen doors or run into a fence chasing a ball but it’s always good for a laugh.

Another rule she has trouble following is “no going on table tops.” She knows it’s a rule because when I catch her breaking it she’ll bow her head in shame. One time I was going out and headed back in for a second because I had forgotten something and lo and behold there she was; tap dancing with her un-groomed claws all over the dining room table. I couldn’t do anything but laugh at that one. She knew she was being bad!

None of that compares to my iPhone case though. When I play catch with her I like to throw a rubber handball around but she’ll play catch with anything. Of course she knows my phone isn’t a toy but that doesn’t stop her from going for it right in front of my face when it’s sitting on the low coffee table. I swear she does it in spite of me. What makes it worse is that she’s quick so once she’s going she’s hard to catch.

On this day Bingo was being especially bad and snagged the iPhone just so I would play with her. I moved; as quick as I could to stop her but she easily evaded me and went off around the house. When I finally did catch her, her grip was too strong and the iPhone case ripped up as I pulled it from her jaw. You can find the exact one Bingo ruined here. The case was mangled and destroyed but the phone survived. I’m glad these iPhone cases exist.

Avoid Withdrawals and Bring Your iPhone Charger With You

Tuesday, July 24th, 2012

The iPhone is awesome, but dangerous. While I can do almost anything I want with my phone, I noticed that I’m always on my phone. Everyone else is doing it too. Next time you go out, look around you and I bet you’ll see half of those people on their phones. But if you carry a phone with you, you must bring an iPhone charger with you. It dies faster than think when your too busy updating your status every five minutes.

While these phones are the greatest invention, they aren’t perfect. Typically, they don’t hold a full charge for longer than one day. That is only if you aren’t constantly on your phone. If my phone dies, then my day is done.

I had gotten myself a job! The only problem was that the office was twenty minutes from my house. This means I can’t just run home if I forgot something. I soon realized commuting to work may not have been the best choice. This wasn’t even a long commute and I didn’t like it. I really didn’t like it when my phone died!

I began the hunt for a charger. I purchased an extra one from iLuv, but it wasn’t going to reach me in time. I needed one now! No one had an extra one to let me borrow; it was unbelievable. I felt so lost without my phone, having a computer was not enough. I couldn’t run home and I was starting to go nuts.

I felt so lost and disconnected with the world. This made it clear that I am addicted to my phone. We all are, don’t try to deny it. There are few people left who can go a day without their phone. If you think you are one of them, then try it. I bet you won’t be able to last. I can admit when I have an addiction, can you?

Life of an iCollege Student

Friday, July 20th, 2012

Being connected to the internet at all times is an absolute necessity for today’s college student. For me, my iPhone has been a lifesaver when it comes to checking last minute e-mails and teachers’ homework postings. My iPhone helps me get through the day and that is why my iPhone charger is one of my most important possessions. It is always with me, whether in my purse or backpack because I never know when it might be time to revive my phone’s battery.

I love my phone but unfortunately when I use it excessively, the battery drains very quickly. To me, this can be a crisis. I need my phone for so many things throughout the day that without it I go crazy. If I forget to do something for class, being able to access the assignment on my phone is extremely convenient. Having it charged at all times is a necessity; especially when I’m checking my Facebook. To learn more about the Facebook app for iPhone, visit here.

I always carry my iPhone charger with me in my backpack. I never know when I’m going to need a quick battery revival in the middle of my school day. My mother, who texts me on a daily basis to check on how I’m doing, expects that I will answer her within minutes. Carrying my charger with me is worth not having my mom worrying about me while I’m away at school.

The ability to search the answer for any question that pops in my head is an amazing thing. I use search engines every single day to look up fun trivia and interesting facts. Having Internet connection at all times is just another reason why having my iPhone charger on me is so important. To see where you can buy an iPhone charger, click here.

Having a hectic on-the-go lifestyle can get crazy at times, especially for a college student like me. Having information literally at my fingertips is a great convenience and something that I couldn’t live without. My iPhone has helped me in so many situations and I am so grateful for it.

My Best Friend’s iPhone Case

Thursday, July 19th, 2012

There’s no other way to look at it; my friend is a serious party animal. He’s a decent hearted individual and is probably one of the most trusting and best friends I’ve ever had but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t come with his own faults. Heck we all do. He just so happens to enjoy getting stumbling drunk every so often. And unfortunately, it’s his cell phones that suffer. I continuously try to get him to buy an iPhone case but to no avail. He says it’s a waste of money I guess. But every other week something else is happening to his newest cell phone.

With this week being more of the same we got together on Friday. After a strenuous day I was prepared to appreciate my free time hanging out on the couch. My friend called me and I could tell he was in party mode. Sometimes if he’s partying too hard by the time we talk I’ll just tell him I have other plans or I’m going to bed because he can get annoying.

It was an average night of playing dollar games of Rummy 500 while sifting through random music on my computer. We had a couple of other people stop in and out throughout the night but it was nothing crazy.

By around sometime after 12 o’clock we were ready to call it a night. He had smoked all of his cigarettes and he had just a beer or two left. Having been pouring each beer into an ice filled cup instead of drinking it right out of the can, he was going to finish his last cup and crash on the couch. Being increasingly inebriated, he frivolously tossed his cell phone into the air. Like Frank Costanza’s million to one shot, the phone landed directly into is cup of beer and shut off. All I could say was, “You should’ve bought an iPhone case.” You can get one yourself if you visit here.

It was his first iPhone that he had ruined. The next day he had to waste more money on a brand new one and he still didn’t get a case. I pushed for him to finally buy one but he still resisted. I know if he had case along with a screen protector it would’ve stood a great chance being dunked in beer.
